Why We Built Easy Flow Catering Software
What We Kept Seeing in the Kitchen
After working with 30+ cafes in Sydney and Melbourne for over five years with their technology and advertising, we noticed that technology in this industry is broken. The tools are overpriced, outdated and support is pay-to-play. This is fine if you're a big venue with high volumes of turnover, but if you're like most Australian hospitality venues, you're running a small operation on tight margins, are extremely time poor and you need someone to help you with the technology side.
We built Easy Flow Catering Software because we saw some of our customers were paying over $350 per month for catering software that was eating into their margins and offering them no technical support. We saw this software was also eating their lunch when it came to catering orders they were receiving by taking a cut of 2%-3% of the transaction value their customers were paying.
As technologists we were appalled, because we believed the software they were using was over-priced and offered little to no value for the price that these cafes and restaurants were paying for catering software. With technology available now, there's also no need to add margins to a transaction as a software vendor; it's just greedy.

That's why we priced our software at $79 per month for all features and take no cut of your revenue. Why We Disagree With Transaction Fees
Stripe already does this. Our platform integrates with Stripe, the same as every other catering platform. So you're already paying Stripe's transaction fees. Charging you a second cut on top for work Stripe does, not the platform, isn't fair. Also, Stripe actually does the work to provide a payments service, there's no work on a catering platform's end to maintain Stripe.
